As you guys know Jeremy Martin had a massive mid air collision and crash with Justin Cooper at Muddy creek during the first lap of the 250 MX second moto. You can see my post about it here Steemit | Busy. He has now been examined by various doctors and we now have the full details of his injury and recovery time.

"The injury will end Martin's bid for a third AMA 250 National Motocross Championship, but he is expected to make a full recovery. Martin suffered a burst fracture of his L1 vertebrae and is being attended to at Bristol hospital near the track. He will undergo back surgery on Monday, June 25th. Recovery time is expected to be around two months and Martin should be able to begin therapy almost immediately after surgery."

This will not be an easy one to come back from but it's a great relief to everyone that he seems to have come out of it with the best chances. This could've been a career ending injury but thanks to the dedicated track medical teams and hard working people at the track it looks very positive for the GEICO Honda rider.

I wish him the best of luck with his recovery and i look forward to seeing him back on a bike where he belongs.
