It's that time of the week again steemers and you know I am ready and pumped to check out the action this weekend at round siz of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series which rolls into 'The Wick 338' in Southwick MA.
The Wick 338 is actually the only fully sand track in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series which throws up some full on challenges for the 250 and 450 MX riders. It has a very unique feel to it as the sand goes from super slippery and deep to hard in places which can catch out the inexperienced guys if not taken seriously. It's the kinda track that you can only master by pounding out the laps and i would not be surprised if the local riders have a few tricks up their sleeves when it comes to race day.
The 250 MX class has taken a real beating this season which has opened up the running for some fresh talent to grab some podium time. Plessenger now has to be the favorite to head the pack but McElrath has suddenly found some form and we all know what he can do when he gets out front early.
