Yamaha MotoGP Rider Movistar, Maverick Vinales has never been shy about expressing his frustration at the fall of the YZR-M1's performance for the past 1.5 seasons. Even so, the brilliant results for the last four series have begun to heal the 23-year 'rider' wound. Had a victory famine since Le Mans, France last year, Vinales began to kick off with a third place finish in Thailand, and continued victory at Phillip Island, Australia.
Towards the final series at Valencia this weekend, he was optimistic. "I have said many times that our chassis is great, achieving good results (at the end of the season) is very important even though our engine is bad.
So we think Yamaha doesn't need to think too much about the chassis because I like it more, and more importantly focus on new engines , "continued the 2013 Moto3 world champion.
