Jakarta - Moto2 racer, Francesco Bagnaia, is negotiating with Pramac Ducati. Valentino Rossi's disciple is likely to perform on the MotoGP scene in 2019.
As reported by Autosport, Sunday (14/1/2018), Pramac just one step to reach an agreement with Bagnaia. However, it is not mentioned in detail who will be shifted his position with the presence of Bagnaia. Pramac will rely on Jack Miller and Danilo Petrucci, in 2018 MotoGP.
Bagnaia is still a protégé at Valentino Rossi's racing academy. At Moto2 last season, he finished fifth.
On several occasions, Bagnaia declared want to promotion to MotoGP in 2019. Currently, he will first undergo a second season in Moto2 with Rossi's team.

According to news reported by La Gazetta dello Sport, negotiations between Bagnaia with Pramac Ducati is approaching the final stage. The Italian rider is likely to take over Danilo Petrucci's position.
Throughout his career in MotoGP, Petrucci has never tasted victory. However, he appeared quite convincing and finish in the eighth position of 2015 final MotoGP standings, just behind Jorge Lorenzo.
Petrucci is rumored to want to make a step forward by upgrading to the manufacturer's team in 2019. However, his desire is unlikely to be accommodated by Ducati who has Andrea Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo. Aprilia mentioned could be an alternative for Petrucci.
If the scenario is realized, Francesco Bagnaia will have a chance to compete with his mentor, Rossi. However, of course on condition Rossi has not decided to retire from the MotoGP scene.
