Le Mans - Johann Zarco took pole position in the 2018 MotoGP France race. Emotional confession, Zarco did not think could reach the leading position and make a lap record.
In the French MotoGP qualifying at Le Mans circuit on Saturday (19/05/2018), Zarco became the fastest with a record time of 1 minute 31.185 seconds. He outperformed Marc Marquez who had a time of 1 minute 31,293 seconds and was in second position.
Zarco, who is a French Tech3 Yamaha Monster racer, did not expect to achieve that result. He's just trying to push his bike as fast as possible. Note time Zarco even broke the record lap circuit.

"It's great and very emotional for me I do not expect to have this emotion during qualifying here." To be sure, I want to be quick, but when I see (1 minute) 31.185 on the board, I surprise myself, "Zarco said as quoted from the site official Monster Yamaha Tech3.
This success is not separated from tire changes in the first and second qualifications. It was recognized Zarco give a significant impact for the rate of motornya.
"The first session was good enough, but I feel the new tire can deliver more in the first round, so I try for the second qualifier and it works well," he continued.
"The work we do, working with different tires, is great, thanks to everyone here, because they give me a lot of positive energy.Let's see if this energy is enough to win tomorrow," Zarco said.
