Do you ride?

I hope we can get the #inthewind to start catching a lot of the motorcycle posts on Steemit.

We 'motorcycle enthusiasts' need to stick together.

This is pics of my project bike.

I'm afraid it has to go on hold for awhile, my mechanic flaked out.

This is the one I am riding at the moment.

It is for sale on peerhub.

Please join us at #inthewind and spread the joy that is living in the wind.

Have a perfectly peaceful day.

Nice project :) I have couple old project in my garage.
The last one :
Old Russian IZH-56

That is sweet.

Are the forks inverted, or just have a cover they go up into?

hope you can fix that bike. I like the blue one aswell :)

Just a matter of time,...

awesome bikes- I love older stuff- built PROPERLY

Yep, I don't want anything newer than '87.
My mechanic won't work on 'em.

Heck, yes, I ride!

Sadly, not very often. Don't presently own a bike. During the last five years or so, I've just rented a hog a few times to go cruising with friends...

My "dream bike" is a Beemer w/ drive shaft. Once in a blue moon I go to a car and motorcycle show, and sit on one and dream a bit... :D

😄😇😄

@creatr

Most of my bikes have been shaft drive, they may be heavier, but they don't have a chain's drawbacks, either.

I have a kz1300 that I bought as a young soldier in Germany, sure miss those rides into the Taunus mountains outside Frankfurt.
I'll be glad when I get it back on it's feet.
Sadly storage has not been kind to it.

I absolutely despise chains, after a lifetime of experience with them...

I might accept a toothed belt drive... :D

I'd like to try a belt, haven't had one yet.
They have to be better than chains.

I'm told they have an advantage over shaft in that you don't get the odd torque/twist effect...

Yes, the throttle will not raise or lower your tail in corners like shaft drives do.
