'A Casual Visit'

crta.png

Igor is a friend of mine whose attic hides two old gems for quite a bit of time now. He owns a couple of vintage Harley-Davidsons. One is from 1931 and the other from 1943, a Canadian Army model. Why attic and not garage would be a reasonable question? Well simply because his motorcycles are stored in boxes. :-) He put them apart who knows when and left them to sleep for all those years. I decided to introduce him to Bojan and maybe together they do something about those two collectables. (I wouldn't mind riding each of them for a few minutes.) :D

Igor is impressed with the workshop, as he had no clue that it existed. Well, I don't blame him. It is impressive to enter and realize the level of seriousness with which Bojan and the crew approach each new project. I remember myself when I first walked in, years ago. While they chat about spare parts and other stuff, I take a walk around. Uuu, I just came across a scary display of biker's culture. :-)

Oh, there is that ' aeroplane' model of Yamaha that I wrote about in part #212 (https://steemit.com/motorcycle/@velimir/motorcycle-travel-series-by-velimir-yamaha-brigante-part-212) but it looks somehow updated. Something is different about it. Must be. I loved this one on the first sight, and I know that I'm right. Something changed...

Oh yes, now it has a new, much cooler looking seat with a big letter 'B' over it. If you remember, the model was named 'Brigante'. That's why the 'B'. The seat looks way better than the previous one. Whoever owns this motorcycle, must have a keen eye for details. There are not too many owners with such a strong vision. Funny how one can tell a lot about the owner just by looking at his bike.

Igor and Bojan are still chatting. It seems that Bojan ignited a spark of enthusiasm in Igor and he decided to put the bikes together, himself. That will be fun to watch. Bojan said that he'll help with the replacement parts and advice. Well, as they say in the movie: 'This seems to be a beginning of a great friendship.' Oh, wow, check out what's cooking in the back of the shop....

Enjoy your day! :-)

Why You Should Upvote Comments!!!!

I've noticed alot of people doesnt reward their followers, and their commenters on here.
It's a shame.
When someone takes the time to not only read your post but to leave a comment. Even throwing your small vote their way does a lot of great things...
They are More Likely To Follow You;
I'm not saying you should upvote every single comment you get. I try and look for those that I feel provide value to the post. When they see that you upvoted their comment and they will be rewarded as a result. This encourages them to follow you; Then you'll have a regular on your post!
You can grow your followers so that they can grow you;
If they choose to keep their Steem in their account, They may power it up. If you continuously are upvoting their great comments, then they will steadily grow overtime. Their vote will be worth even more, and they'll be able to upvote you, The upvotes you gave them helps them grow, so they have more power on the platform.

I like your post
Thank you very much @velimir

Very good @velimir

Postings that attract friendships can be started from anytime because friendship is the highest level in the social process. At this stage one can meluapkan what he felt and think to his friend without any sense of shame. Companions usually understand each other. How did it happen? The answer is simple, if for me, friendship can be formed because the interaction is very intensive, comfortable in communication, and usually at this stage, a person can tell anything even his personal problems. The point is that the Companion does not always have meeting frequency, but usually follows the very close frequency of communication and emotional bonding.

Every time you come with something amazing man. This picture is the reason and people should learn from your great sense:

ycvbK7f.jpg

You're a good sense of humor, love and humanity. You always capture the things which common people ignore or don't guess the depth of that particular thing. But you come with these tiny things which later make special.
All the best my friend @velimir, keep it up!

how are you so famous. @titanik

The name Igor is not a traditional name for Croatia. (or I'm wrong).
An interesting tandem will turn out among these two people. To create such motorcycles is extremely creative work. Motorcycles that are hand-built by professionals are exceptional and unique in their kind. That is, it is an individuality in its pure form. It's nice to be the owner of a thing that only you have, it concerns motorcycles too.
The skull was brutal and frigging. I like it.
Good day:)

Carlito Brigante would have liked the bike, wonderful machine.

good post

You really have a great passion about bikes and stuff....i have seen hundreds of your posts each one of it being somehow related to motorcycles...i guess in paradise first thing you will ask for is motorcycle.....isnt it...

I just love your trips to Bojan's shop. Interesting stuff stashed in that place.

What model is Igor's 31? Some of those are worth some really serious money. All North American WWII vehicles are titled 1942 so there is some serious variation in those, too. Probably a 45 CID, but some extremely valuable variants there too. There were a very few shaft drive HD's released in the general world at the end of the war. Pretty exciting stuff. For a motorcycle geek :)

A nice post 😊
