Today starts 86th edition 24 hours of Le Mans race (24 Heures du Mans) - most important motorsport challenge in the world

Hello Dear Steemians,

Today is a big day for starting #challenge in the most famous motorsport endurance #championship #race - 24 #Heures du Mans (24 Hours of Le Mans). It's #86th edition this year.

60 cars on grid and 180 #motorsports #drivers will take a part in this spectacular #race in #saturday afternoon starting at 15:00 ⚡🏪🚦 Success is to finish the race. No one can be sure to see chequered flag at the end of race.

One of the greatest and most well-known spectacles in the race world. I am sure that without the 24 Hours of #LeMans race, endurance racing would not exist. Race created in 1923 by the #Automobile #Club de l’Ouest, the main event on the #WEC calendar with double #Championship points awarded at the end of the world’s greatest #motorsport #event.

With 13.626 km long and 38 turns this race #track known as #Circuit de la Sarthe chill even most experienced sport drivers in the world. Many times leading driver finished his #race on last lap and lost the race. #Track has been changed many times due to restrictions and spectacular #accidents that took place but even so it stays very #dangerous and #unpredictable.
