For many years I dreamt of living off the grid on a mountain. Today I will start living that way. I bought this mountain in Puerto Rico with this amazing view where I will live a sustainable life off the land. I will create a food forest through permaculture and using renewable energy. I still don't know what type of house I will built or with what materials, but I am working on the research for that. THE VIDEO BELOW shows the 1st day I stayed on the mountain which was on December 31st 2018. It was a great way to spend the last night of the year along with the 1st morning of the new year 2019. Aye, it's inspiring, your video had a really good quality as well. Would be awesome to follow your path from mountain to permaparadise - a viral series on steem for sure if you keep at it.
There have been people who built their first Earthship for a few thousand bucks only, if you start small and get a lovely crew together to help you build it you would have a prime base on our land which you could later use for storage and the like, as the couple in the video has started to do after they had finished their large earthship.
