Kenai/Chugach Mountains from the Kenai Wetlands
We had a pretty nice cloud day today, so on the way home since I needed a mountain shot for this post, we stopped at the Kenai Wetlands view area.
The image is composed of six pictures nicely knitted together by Autostitch Demo program. (free to use by the way).
The mountains are part of the Kenai and Chucach Mountain area, I know they are a little bit small and distant in the picture, but you do get a slightly better view with the slightly larger picture. I am trying to not run through my bandwidth allotment from my service provider as quickly as last month.
We had some off and on summer shower activity, but over all a pretty nice sky at the time we stopped. While on the viewing platform as I was finishing up taking pictures I had this visitor:
He did a little circle over my wife's head then came and landed on the deck railing not more than 8 feet away from me. It was almost like he wanted his picture taken.
There seems to be a lot of green and blues and whites in the above two shots, so here is a non-mountain, non-outing shot of a patch of dandelions to add a little color to the post.
My contribution to the fuzzy yellow dandelion picture efforts of so many, most of my close-ups of dandelions come out slightly blurry looking, but I think this small patch looked pretty good.
I hope to see a few views of your mountains, I do enjoy seeing things from other parts of the world or country. Some backyard views are just to die for. As always I will try to vote, comment and resteem your #mountainmonday post for others to see and admire.
It looks like a beautiful day! Great photos-that gull photo is perfect! I must go look for a mountain photo for tomorrow.

The sky always looks so clean after one or two small rain showers, the blues really stand out. Thank you for the visit.

What a great view! I'm always amazed how wide and big the view is if you're not constantly in a valley surrounded by hills and mountains like me :-) I really enjoy the change of view when I get to flat areas, which isn't often.
Your little visitor is a sweetie as well!
Lovely post!
