Wetlands Panoramic Views

The views here are from the Kenai Wetlands viewing platform. This first panoramic shot is 8 images four across the bottom, and four across the top. It was a nice sky day and I wanted to add that into the picture. The lens I used was my "landscape lens". The Nikon AF-P 10-20 mm. The program to stitch the pictures together is "Auto Stitch" the free demo version.

The Big Picture click will let you see the distant mountains. I did crop and pull the mountains out and they are the second picture.

Here are the mountains across the inlet. Pretty much center of the picture above.

The above views are pretty much due west. Here is a 4 shot panoramic view of the east and southeast wetlands area.

Most of the time using the barrel distortion tool you can get rid of a lot of the panoramic stitching distortion, not all of it but most, in the above large view you will see on the right that the land appears to have a rise, it does naturally rise some but not as much as the picture would have you believe. As I get more practice I hope to learn to lessen the stitching effects a bit better.

Here is the last view, a two image stitched pano of the north side of the road.

I hope you enjoyed this panoramic experience and I hope to see you all on #mountainmonday. So far I have not had much luck getting pictures of birds, maybe soon.

I love #mountainmonday! Here's my post today...

Its really nice Wetlands Panoramic Views.

Lovely shots of the mountains, Interesting how you used the distortion tool.

The middle part get a little bit fat, so the barrel distortion tool helps a little bit on pinching it in a little bit. it is still noticeable but not as much so. Then with cropping you can almost make it go away.
