This year, the organizers plan to gather up to 90,000 participants for the "Immortal Regiment" action in Saratov. Preparations for the mass procession will be discussed today, April 3, at a meeting of the commission on patriotic education of the Public Chamber of the Saratov region.
At the same time, the minimum number of participants for which organizers count is 50 thousand people. The procession of the "Immortal Regiment" has traditionally been held on May 9, 2018. In Saratov, at 14.00, the construction of columns on Moskovskaya Street from Stepan Razin Street to Chapaev Street will begin, at 3 pm the movement of the column along Moskovskaya Street to the Theater Square will begin.
Public officials plan to discuss the collection and construction of columns, the musical accompaniment of the procession, the involvement of volunteers in organizing the action. The action is planned to be accompanied by social advertising with an announcement on banners and stops. In addition, the public will discuss the organization of points for scanning photographs and printing sheets for pillars on the basis of the MFC and the offices of the "Post of Russia".
Recall that last year the organizers of the "Immortal Regiment" in Saratov counted 81 thousand participants of the action.
