While overall I enjoyed this movie, despite the "humanization" of the ape characters I still found myself rooting for the humans. Of course I knew the Humans would "lose" in the movie, but I still kept rooting for them. Just my opinion of course.

(Also I understand that it's very hard for a filmmaker to "humanize" a non human species especially an ape.)
