Review about 'The Circle' / 'حلقة' / 'кольцо' / 'Halka'

Halka, The Circle, حلقة, кольцо. A new Turkish TV series which is shown on TRT1 weekly, on tuesday. An episode takes 120-140 minutes.

If we talk about The Circle, we can use these words: a secret organization, men in suits, old issues, police.

Kaan and Cihangir two aggrieved men which have problems with The Circle, begin a fight against them, but here’s the thing they are also in The Circle.

The Circle’ theme is not new, we know many examples like it, it is nice when doing well. You have to build its structure nicely, think and write characters for long-term. At least, viewers think it is done like this.

Why The Circle is good?
*Each episode better than the previous one.
*They don’t fudge it.
*It looks like, episodes have been planned in the beginning well.
*It’s speed and flow is very good. It’s story is moving on really, it is not in a loop like we see same things again n again.
*Cast, musics, places, cars, backgrounds, story, and others… all of them are pretty good.

But there are some little problems also. For example, the most seen woman in the series, Mujde’s some scenes is too long. Especially, walking scenes, long and slow. That is a problem. In addition, every mind-game for suprising viewers, does not have to be successful.

As a result, The Circle is a good, exciting, thrilling series. We recommend it!
