Hi everyone.
I was re-watching the Chaplin films and kept finding myself laughing out loud, realized that I wish I had added a little more information to my previous posts that would have made them a bit a more interesting.
For example, in the Charlie Chaplin Film Festival there are four films total: The Immigrant, The Adventurer, Easy Street and The Cure. Each of them had movie poster art which I wished I had posted but will do so now:
The Immigrant
The Adventurer
By now you may have noticed there are two other actors who appear in all of the films. Their names are Edna Purviance:
and Eric Campbell:
The Cure
Easy Street
All four movies were releases in the year 1917. Wow! I can clearly see the lineage of Charlie Chaplin's comedy in modern comics. I found his physical expressiveness to be absolutely brilliant and the choreography with his co-stars was quite impressive as well.
Notably, in addition to starring in each of these films, Mr. Chaplin wrote and directed them. They are considered to be a collection of some of his finer work, and I am honored to have the opportunity to discover and share them.
Thank you for reading and staying tuned. I intend to do a follow up on the The Stooges episode I recently played as well so please give me a follow so you can receive updates and more cool videos in the future. I wanted to start off a little light but will mixing up genres in the near future.
See you soon!
