Lady Bird’ is already accumulating awards! The season has just barely begun as 2017 comes to a close, but the female directed and led film is starting to rack up. Not only did star Saoirse win the Gotham Independent Film Award for Best Actress, but Greta received the Satellite Auteur Award. If i not wrong Lady Bird was chosen by the American Film Institute one of the top 10 films of the year. At the 90th Academy Awards, it earned five nominations including Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Director & two other that now i can't remember.
