Hey fellow Steemians/Traders/Crypto-Enthusiasts,

Today I feel like I am in the mood for good trading related movie ! I reach out to all of you to give suggestions. I think I have watched most of the trading/finance related movies out there and there are definitely some gems among them, but in general I have been kind of disappointed (e.g. the movie for Bernie Madoff). Let me give you my picks :)

#1 Inside Job

Although this is not a trading-related movie, more like finance related this is by far the best piece I've watched on the subject. The main subject is the 2008 financial crisis - it's an eye opener ! MUST WATCH MOVIE'

#2 The Big Short

Another movie that is tightly related to the 2008 financial crisis but in a very different aspect (more of a traders perspective and more "in the moment" movie. It really shows how things work in wall street when greed is not controlled. In 2006-7 a group of investors bet against the US mortgage market. In their research they discover how flawed and corrupt the market is.

P.S. The actors are just amazing

#3 Wall Street

The original Wall Street movie (not the recent one from 2010) is great ! It really shows you how much things have changed in the last 30-40 years (technology wise) but it shows how human nature is the same for the last 10,000 years at least. No matter how much our surroundings change the most difficult task is to change ourselves.
