The first action movie in my #movie-tips.
Also the first Thai production.
Since 'The Accountant' got a lot of hype, I thought I'd throw in a movie with an autistic protagonist, too.

Prachya Pinkaew made one of my all-time favorite movies: Ong Bak.
This movie doesn't feature Tony Jaa, but JeeJa Yanin as the hero(ine).
It's all about fighting.
I watched this with some strangers in a tent in Australia and a Swedish girl said: 'It feels like watching porn'; This is fight porn.
The stunts are all 'handmade' - no CGI, no fast cuts - all action.
The plot is not very interesting. It's about an autistic girl, who watches action movies and learns all the moves. She copies Toni Jaa, Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee (battlecry included) and then beats up a lot of gangsters.
The choreography and stunts are excellent and after a slow start the movie really picks up a lot of speed.
Much like Ong Bak, it has some fitting music, too.
After Ong Bak, this is the best fighting movie to date.
Must watch.
Make sure to also watch the outtakes in the end (homage to Jackie Chan) to really appreciate the stunts, hard work, sweat and blood put into this work.
