I appreciate any and all support for shooting on film.

Also, most of the photos that you've seen from me over the last several years have been medium format film. Any photo that isn't my cat, or a new book, or some crap like that, has been on film.

Still, some of the technical stuff that people bring up in articles like this bother me.

I have a 35mm Kodak slide projector. I've seen my slides on a screen that's 7' wide. They look freaking fantastic. That's a larger presentation than 99.9% of photos that people look at nowadays. If my 35mm slides are clean on a screen that's...what?...ten times or more the size of your computer screen, why should resolution be a big deal?

I don't need to get too technical about why I shoot film.

I shoot film because film looks like film.

I can get into any technical detail you want. I just don't care. I also don't think that getting into the technological minutia is useful or important.
