Also, most of the photos that you've seen from me over the last several years have been medium format film. Any photo that isn't my cat, or a new book, or some crap like that, has been on film.
Still, some of the technical stuff that people bring up in articles like this bother me.
I have a 35mm Kodak slide projector. I've seen my slides on a screen that's 7' wide. They look freaking fantastic. That's a larger presentation than 99.9% of photos that people look at nowadays. If my 35mm slides are clean on a screen that's...what?...ten times or more the size of your computer screen, why should resolution be a big deal?
I don't need to get too technical about why I shoot film.
I shoot film because film looks like film.
I can get into any technical detail you want. I just don't care. I also don't think that getting into the technological minutia is useful or important.
