Predator is one of those few movies that stayed in my memory and I want to watch it again and again. With "Back to the future", it marked a great time for many of my childhood acquaintances.
It was released in 1987, being a great success. It came to us in 1988. I do not know if it was because of the small size of the cinema in our city, but the long lines, for several weeks, stayed the same as the first day of its premiere. I think we were able to enter the last week of the screening.
Inside the room we were trapped by the plot of a story that began like any other, about military men looking for a minister lost in the jungle. Appears the imposing Arnold Schwarzenegger smoking his cigar and as if saying: "I'm ready to kick ass." The background music put a lot of emotion to the story.
....
For me it was a wraparound action from beginning to end. For weeks we talked about these non-existent aliens and we saw them from time to time on our mountain excursions (imagination). I do not know how many times I've watched it, but I can tell it from the first minute to the last. : D
