Muhsin Bey of Istanbul is an old-fashioned man who is fond of Turkish musicals and flowers and is tied to his values. A rapidly changing city in the '80s, a man living alien and primitive for erosion of culture he brought from the village to the city. One day there came the city to make a cassette, the roads that intersect with the burned voicemaker Ali Nazik.
Muhsin Bey thinks that he can meet Ali with fame. The people of these two separate worlds thus enter into a tough co-operation. To understand how far apart the worlds are, surely time will be required.
Muhsin Bey, who Yavuz Turgul implied to be his favorite film more than once, emerged as a film that had master names like Şener Şen and Uğur Yücel in his body, telling the right things at the right time.
