IM HERE TODAY TO POST A REVIEW FOR A MOVIE I RECENTLY WATCHED, THE MOVIE IS CALLED 'The Hero'

The Hero is a American comedy-drama movie released in 2017. directed & edited by Brett Haley and was written by Haley and Marc Basch. It stars Sam Elliott, Laura Prepon, Krysten Ritter, Nick Offerman and Katharine Ross and follows an aging movie star dealing with Cancer. He currently makes a living doing voice acting for commercials who spends his spare time smoking Marijuana and chilling with his drug dealer who is also a former co-worker.

The movie premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 21, 2017 and was released by The Orchard on June 9, 2017.

Lee Hayden (Sam Elliott) is a Western icon with a golden voice who is aging, with his best performances are decades behind him. He spends his time thinking of old glories and smoking marijuana until a surprise cancer diagnosis brings his priorities into sharp focus. He soon strikes up an exciting, revitalizing relationship with stand-up comedian Charlotte , and attempts to reconnect with his estranged daughter, Lucy all while searching for one final role (failing at several) to cement his legacy.

The movie runs 1 hour 33 minutes, was produced by Houston King, Sam Bisbee, Erik Rommesmo for companies such as : Northern Lights, Park Pictures, Houston King Productions

The Movie brought in $4 Million at the box office.
