THERE will be no movies without directors. They are the one most responsible for the films that we watch on the bigscreen and even at home during our movie marathons with our friends or family. Filipinos are movie lovers and we happen to have deep appreciation for the people behind the scenes who works equally hard to produce a quality film. Directors have a huge responsibility the moment they said "yes" to a project. They are very much involved with every detail of the movie. They are already responsible for a lot of tasks even before the camera starts rolling.
They have to make sure that the material or the script is fully-cooked already and has only minimal or no loopholes AT ALL. It is also their task to make sure that they select the right actors who can portray and give justice to the roles on the script. It is also part of their job to monitor camera angles, musical scoring and a lot more. Everything that happens on the movie should be approved by a director and that's a heavy task to do. That's why they should always be given due recognitions whether their movie becomes a blockbuster hit or not. They have worked hard and their job is no joke.
I am proud to say that our country has a lot of brilliant, passionate and hardworking directors. Throughout the years, they have given us the opportunity to enjoy their artistry through their quality films. I've listed a few remarkable directors who have directed some of the well-loved films that has been part of every Filipino's heart. I won't be able to list all of them because we have TOO MANY great directors and this articles isn't enough to feature all of them. So, here are the directors who made it to my list. See if your favorites are here.
