Mad Max: Fury Road

Mad Max 4.

Yes this was the fourth Mad Max film, and from the initial trailers it seemed that this could be worthwhile watching. In short it was, the sound track, special effects and cinematography all made this film something much, much better than the last one.



In a world where only two things matter, fuel/energy and water we have those that will rule by any means required. So if you have the muscle and can control the water you can be king. This is an apocalyptic story set where people are living on the edge of the desert and everyone is fighting for what they need to survive.

Just as with any unjust rule there will always be those that rebel, we have a group of people lead by one woman who heading across the desert to her birth place. This she believes is an oasis with food and water. The ruler however allow this so the chase begins.

As this is a more standard Hollywood movie it is no surprise that the righteous triumph over their suppressors. There is a twist to this movie which does mean it runs for a bit longer which isn't an issue as the movie and music are fast paced.
