Million Dollar Baby

Today, I am gonna try to review a movie which was made in 2004. I found opportunity to watch this movie about 3 weeks ago. Let me give you a short summary about the movie.

Frankie has spent his entire life raising terrifying fighters in boxing ring. The most important lesson that he teaches to boxers " always protect yourself". Aspiring boxer Maggie wants Frankie Dunn to train her but he has no interest in training a girl. Frankie leads a lonely existence, alienated from his only daughter and having few friends. He has been trying to be not close to no one for a long time because of his painful experience that kept him away from his daughter. Maggie is a hard worker boxer and she improved her skills quickly and Frankie impressed her passion about boxing. Maggie become a friend who fills the great void Frankie had in his life.

What do I think about this movie?

Well, I think this is not a ordinary action movie because the movie has drama which is so touching. It's a masterpiece and I don't think anyone can say negative thing about the movie. I normally don't like the movie which includes boxing but this movie shows you there is more thing then two people fighting in a ring. It tells what difficulties to achieve something in life, and how to deal with obstacles.

There is big difference between beginning of the movie and end of the movie. So, this is not a typical movie that ends with a happy ending. So, one of the thing the movie suggesting you that life is a fight, you should always protect yourself...
