The Polar Express - Seeing it for the first time

in movie •  7 years ago

I can't believe this movie somehow slipped through the cracks and I haven't seen it in the 13 years since it was released!

Such a wonderful movie with a message we should all try and remember...
Faith is believing and seeing isn't always believing.

So many of us grew up believing in Santa Claus when we were children and our faith was rewarded with presents on Christmas morning. Faith is everything for a child. It truly opens all doors for anything to be possible and that is the magic of Christmas. The conductor asks the boy in this story to BELIEVE and not let anyone judge him for believing in Santa Claus or anything else that may go against what's "accepted". The boy remembers this and follows this instinct to believe for the rest of the film. The Polar Express is a magical tale that reminds us how important faith really is. All of the four children learn very important lessons that are a great reminder for children and adults alike. The animation and effects are superb, and the characters provide lots of fun along the way!

If you were like me and somehow missed this movie...I highly suggest you watch it!

"Believe" me, you won't regret it! :)

Hi Kylie,

I've never actually seen Polar Express, but I'll definitely check it out... we watched Elf for the first time this year and loved it... so clearly we are not on the pulse when it comes to Christmas movies... we did watch Die Hard on Christmas day, so we're trying.

Also, it's not a big deal or anything, but I just wanted to let you know that if you put "<" and "center" and ">" all together before your image (I can't do it because it will center the text in this comment and then "<" "/center" and ">" at the end of your image then it will center it. It totally looks fine how it is... but I thought I'd let you know if you didn't know already.

Also, last sentence... so great!

I love the movie Elf!! Definitely one of my favorites!! Die Hard of course is great!
I actually like when I don't see a movie that everyone else already has. There is something wonderful about watching a movie with someone who has already watched it...It's kind of like they too are getting the first time experience again :)

And I actually did not know that so thank you very much for letting me know! I will be sure to do that little trick on future posts!

So glad you liked it :)
Have a nice day!!

You're very welcome... obviously you don't have to center your images, but at least now you have the choice. I was super excited when someone told me about it.

I hope you have a lovely day too!

I love that I have the option :) Thank you so much!!
