Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) by George Miller (REVIEW)

I don’t like cinemas so I prefer watching movies at home, even watching sci-fi movies with awesome visual effects, I know that it’s much more fun to watch them in the cinema but I get more enjoyable moments while I am at home watching those movies alone.

I was skeptical about this movie at first, but after I saw it, I really liked it, the movie had a lot of cool visual effects while the story was very simple. The story is cool even though it is a post-apocalyptic wasteland, it has epic characters. One of them is a women which decides to rebel against the dictator of her homeland which leads into a huge group of rebellions joining her in the fight against the dictator, one of the rebellions is a guy named Max who is a crazy skillful drifter that will play a huge role in the battle.

I probably watched this movie in 2015 or 2016 I cannot recall well, but I am sure it was in that period, I was young and with different opinion about this movie, even though now I know that the movie has a deep message to tell and I think I found the original meaning of this movie which is fascinating.

I do believe that in some near future the humanity will fight for resources on earth, such as drinkable water, currently that is the most valued asset and resource for the humanity, and when we get there, to that situation of not being able to get fresh water for everyone, then that will create huge division between people which will lead to wars, poor and rich with different ideologies will fight for the fresh water while leaving millions of people in a deadly position.

The movie is a clear message that when it comes to that moment then it will be every man for himself and it will be the biggest chaos on earth, and the good human behavior will vanish, similar story to the TV “The Walking Dead” which is more of a sci-fi post-apocalyptic show, I think that he movie has more realistic story, even though “The Walking Dead” is still possible to happen thanks to our biological experiments.

Back then this movie was a cool action movie while now I think it has more of an ideological message behind it which I really like and I think you will like it as well, give it a try, totally deserves it.

Besides that this is a sequel to original movie “Mad Max” directed in 1979 by George Miller while Mel Gibson is the main character named Max.
