*You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your fucking khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world. *
**-Tyler Durden **

And with phrases like these, the film called the fight club became so controversial and acclaimed, which is worth noting is my favorite film of all time, and we go in the times we are where consumerism debts and the manipulation of the masses They are taking us to the abyss to keep others as kings, as Tyler and his fight club make us, but I will not say any more, they remember the number one rule of the club.

What is "the Fight Club" about?

Start with our protagonist, who suffers from insomnia followed by a feeling of non-conformity to life, so he decides to go to the doctor, who suggests visiting terminal patient centers to renew his appreciation for life.

The protagonist (we will call him that since his name is never mentioned, although some claim is called Jack) is immersed in a consumer lifestyle feeling that to be complete must have everything that is expected of you in society, a good I work a big apartment a lot of material things and a car of the year, but none of this filled him, so he listens to his doctor, which seems to have results since after doing it and seeing the different groups of "sick" he feels something of relief and manages to rest turning this into his escape and joining as a group finds (in addition to inventing their respective disease to participate).

However, this outbreak of discomfort is no longer effective when Marla Singer, begins to go to all support groups to which the protagonist comes, his presence is threatening to the protagonist because, like him, she does not suffer any of the diseases of those groups; she is a tourist (like him), which is unsustainable because she attacks her being, she alleges "I can not cry if there is another liar present".

Later after a work trip the protagonist finds that there was a fire in his house, so he is forced to go live with Tyler, a man he meets on the plane back to his home, establishing with the latter a almost fraternal bond. Tyler represents what the protagonist has repressed and what he would like to be, one could say that Tyler is the message of being telling him to resign, to stop demanding. This is evident in dialogues where Tyler tells the protagonist "I say you're never complete, I say stop being perfect (...) stop trying to control everything and let it go".

The constant calls to the aggressiveness that Tyler makes the protagonist leads to the creation of The Fight Club. In this, the repression and destruction is released in the struggles they have with the unknown that make up in club. Thus, the Fight Club consists of a call to liberation ...

CONCLUSION

Not to do Spoilers to those who still do not see "The Fight Club" is a call to reflection is a masterpiece that gives twists to the plot and does not give cavity to get bored. touches issues such as politics, consumerism, anarchy, self and its release, has a cast of first-rate actors and each scene is a work of art making uses of abstract resources that will allow us to see the film over and over Once finding details that we did not notice the previous time. 100% recommended

FINAL SCORE: 9/10

I can not give 10/10 because it is my favorite movie and it would be to use personal criteria on everything that makes up this work (script, camera, cast ... etc.)
If you got to this point I hope you enjoyed this analysis even more than me when writing it, obviate many important things in the plot so that those who have not seen it run to look at it.
