What's going on with Movie business?

Last night finally I watched Guillermo Del Toro's "The Shape of Water". I'm Astound by all those positive reviews I've read before. To be honest it was a visually perfect movie, but common! It was a B movie filmed with a David Lean's blockbuster movie facilities! B movies must be B movies. We watched a good example of it this year: "Get Out", or anytime Robert Rodriguez decides to make one of them we see a B movie produced in B style! I don't know! maybe I'm getting too old! I don't understand how come they acclaim such a movie in a year we watched great movies such as "Dunkirk" and "Three Billboard outside Ebbing Missouri"? Somebody enlighten me Please.shape-of-water.jpg
