She Is The Last Of Her Kind

This film has been been a long time dream for James Cameron, and has been in planning since 1995.

This is a feature film adaptation of Yukito Kishiro's manga series Battle Angel Alita, something James wanted to direct long before Titanic ever happened. The down side unfortunately here was that due to his commitments to direct Avatar 2 and 3, James Cameron took the role of producer and got director Robert Rodriguez to run the ship. This look like this will make my list of movies I'd go to the cinema for, the trailer looks pretty bad ass.

You are probably wondering what's the deal with the weird eyes on the main lead, well as far as what I can find, the producers felt they wanted to keep the manga style big eyes to give it a more photo-realistic feel. It is a bit strange but I kind of like it, always wanted to see how this would look in a live adaptation. The next manga live action movie I really wanna see made would be Ninja Scroll, one of my best picks ever.

Battle Angel gets an anticipated rating of 9/10

I'm loving the look and feel of this, and the producer and director crew will make this a winner, I hope.
