Saw a perfectly delightful movie last night, called “Turn Every Page.”
It is about the 50-year working and often contentious relationship between historical author, Robert Caro, and legendary editor and publisher, Robert Gottlieb.
It just sparkles with human magic. I must have chuckled 50 times and it’s not in any way meant to be funny.
They’re just being themselves and thinking the way they do, which is an advanced form of cogitation to be sure.
I think any writer will love it.
