Real life Kolar Gold Fields and how it is linked to the movie

Kolar Gold Fields is a mining field in Kolar district, India. Mining gold in this area had begun in 1875 when British ruled over India. By 1902, KGF produced more than 95% of India's gold. The amount of Gold found here was so much that particles of gold could be found in and around the town's soil. It was truly a city of Gold. British sent most of this gold to England for several years before leaving the country. It was shut down on February 28, 2001 due its high production cost and low revenues/profits.

The makers of KGF movies have cleverly used the real life story of this gold mine to create a fictitious story around it. The story mainly revolves around organized crime and the monopoly of Gold. This movie is a must watch for all the people in the world. It has an INTERNATIONAL appeal like any other Hollywood movie does.

Chapter 1 or the first Movie

The movie was released on 18 December, 2018 in several Indian languages and can be watched on Amazon Prime with English subtitles.
It follows the origin story of 'Rocky' (main character) and shows his journey from being a child born in poverty to becoming the largest criminal in India by discovering these gold mines and the person that controls it.

Chapter 2 or the second Movie

Rocky will have to build an empire facing many villains and even the Prime minister of India (played by Raveena Tondon) who want to take over KGF.
