First trailer of "First They Killed My Father" of Angelina Jolie

Nothing in the world has changed since Netflix 'invasion' of the territories of the biggest film festivals and Angelina Jolie makes next film. I mean, we mean "directed", which is a pretty strong statement by the addressee. Its current project is called " First They Killed My Father " and in the memories of Lung Ung, who survived as a child during the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia (then Kampuchea).

As noted by colleagues overseas, if we can judge by the first trailer, which Angelina Jolie says what it has created, we will notice that the film is determined largely in the style known from the great drama of Netflix - " Beasts of No Nation " ( terrifying story through the eyes of a child soldier ...) but ... there is always a "but"! One is Cary Fukunaga to direct, quite another in this role (trying to) act ... Jolie. Look!

We do not want to fall into pettiness, really. However, this is only the trailer, but it smells of naphthalene, cliches and helplessness. So he fell in love with frames fire reflected in children's eyes that it portraits? So it no imagination recruitment and even in video advertising on its future film it should prosaic linear structure?

We feel that with " First They Killed My Father " Angelina Jolie will offer impressive visually story (hopefully at least will "elaborate" this part!) But which would represent a simple observation of events from before 40 years without being invested heart and soul in history

The premiere of the film will be on the agenda of the biggest non-competitive film festival in the world - Toronto and almost immediately after September 15 will appear exclusively in selected cinemas and of course - the network of Netflix.
