Fast & Furious 9: The Fast Saga is an upcoming 2021 American action film directed by Justin Lin and written by Chris Morgan and Daniel Casey . A sequel to the 2017 film The Fate of the Furious , it will be the tenth installment in the Fast and the Furious franchise and the ninth film in the main series. Synopsis

Black Widow (2021 film)

Black Widow is a 2021 American superhero film based on Marvel Comics featuring the character of the same name. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the 24th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film was directed by Cate Shortland from a screenplay by Eric Pearson, and stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow alongside Florence Pugh, David Harbour, O-T Fagbenle, Olga Kurylenko, William Hurt, Ray Winstone, and Rachel Weisz. Set immediately after the events of Captain America: Civil War (2016), the film sees Romanoff on the run and forced to confront a conspiracy tied to her past.

Development of a Black Widow film began in April 2004 by Lionsgate, with David Hayter attached to write and direct. The project did not move forward and the character's film rights reverted to Marvel Studios by June 2006. Johansson was cast in the role for several MCU films beginning with Iron Man 2 (2010), and began discussing a solo film with Marvel. Work began in late 2017, with Shortland hired in 2018. Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson contributed to the script before Pearson was hired. Filming took place from May to October 2019 in Norway, Budapest, Morocco, Pinewood Studios in England, and in Atlanta, Macon, and Rome, Georgia.

Black Widow premiered on June 29, 2021, at various events around the world, and was released in the United States on July 9 simultaneously in theaters and through Disney+ with Premier Access. It is the first film in Phase Four of the MCU, and was delayed three times from an original May 2020 release date due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Black Widow broke several pandemic box office records upon release, and has grossed over $219 million worldwide; it also made $60 million in Disney+ global revenue in its opening weekend. The film was met with generally favorable reviews from critics, with praise for the performances, particularly of Johansson and Pugh, and action sequences.

Synopsis

Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, faces the darkest parts of her story when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past emerges. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to end her, Natasha must confront her history as a spy and the broken relationships she left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.

The Boss Baby: Family Business[5] (known in other territories as The Boss Baby 2) is a 2021 American computer-animated comedy film loosely based on the 2010 picture book The Boss Baby and its 2016 sequel The Bossier Baby by Marla Frazee, produced by DreamWorks Animation, and distributed by Universal Pictures. The second installment in the The Boss Baby franchise and the sequel to the 2017 film, the film is directed by Tom McGrath, from a screenplay by Michael McCullers with a story by McGrath and McCullers, and stars the voices of Alec Baldwin, James Marsden, Amy Sedaris, Ariana Greenblatt, Jeff Goldblum, Eva Longoria, Jimmy Kimmel, and Lisa Kudrow. The plot follows the now-adult Templeton brothers (Baldwin and Marsden) who are brought back together after the new Boss Baby (Sedaris) requests their help to stop a professor (Goldblum) from erasing childhoods worldwide.

The film was theatrically released in the United States on July 2, 2021 in traditional and select RealD 3D and Dolby Cinema locations, by Universal Pictures; it also streamed on paid tiers of Peacock for 60 days. The film has grossed $41 million worldwide, with the Rotten Tomatoes critics consensus calling it "a painless diversion for the kids".
