  •  Mr. Nobody is a 2009 science fiction drama film written and directed by Jaco Van Dormael and starring Jared Leto, Sarah Polley, Diane Kruger, Linh Dan Pham, Rhys Ifans, Natasha Little, Toby Regbo and Juno Temple. The film tells the life story of Nemo Nobody, a 118-year-old man who is the last mortal on Earth after the human race has achieved quasi-immortality.

 Synopsis:

  • A young boy stands on a station platform. The train is about to leave. Should he go with his mother or stay with his father? An infinity of possibilities rise from this decision. As long as he doesn't choose, anything is possible. Every life deserves to be lived.

Overview of the film:

  • Nemo (the main character of the film) in all stages of his life that were between childhood and adolescence Until the age of 30 all these stages have been provided to us, Dormel in two different ways.
The first form is in case Nemo decided to go and live with his mother and the events expected to occur And the fate awaiting him and the second form of his life if Nemo decided to stay to live with his father.
There is also a stage that talks about old Nemo (who is in the old age) and who is the foundationStarting from the film and ends and understand the basic idea that the film is centered on.
  • The name "Nemo" in Latin means "no one" in addition to its last name "Nobody" Which means the other word (no one) as all events in this film speak A personality that does not exist from the foundation in addition to that all these events were in the imagination So we see that some of these events are unrealistic and this is what may alienate some from watching it or For the completion of the most unrealistic ideas and this is why we do not see the work of such a great film and reputation Between the followers of the cinema.

The butterfly Effect:

  •  Nemo's father tells him about The Butterfly Effect when he talks about how he met Nemo's mother. The scene shows a butterfly flying in an Asian field, which causes a slight wind that grows as it travels. Eventually, it travels all the way to England and blows a leaf off of a tree and onto a sidewalk. Nemo's father slips on it, and his mother runs over to check on him. It is also mentioned another time in the movie when it relates a man boiling an egg that causes a storm halfway around the world. The storm causes Nemo to lose touch with one of his lovers, Anna.

My point of view:

  •  I honestly don't know if this film will work for others as well as it did me. It's a hard film to describe without going into detail and spoilers. It was more interesting than anything else, but also very, very ambitious. Some may find it too complex while others will think the whole thing is stupid. You won't know until you give it a shot though, and I can only hope others like this under seen gem as much as I did.
  • Also jared leto did an amazing performance in this movie, he showed us how much talented he is in acting as he plays himself at various ages in different decades and centuries.

for everyone who didn't watched the movie yet, i recommend you guys to do it as soon as possible, it's worth watching.
