Unusual Spanish fiction.
The spacecraft Orbit 9 heading to the planet Celeste, where she will deliver her only colonist, a young girl Elena – but only after 20 years. European cinema, to be honest, rarely enters into the orbit of attention of mass audience. With the exception of festival tapes, or any of the acclaimed French comedies. And the European space SyFy (SAI FAI "Science fiction") – is generally a phenomenon akin to Halley's comet in the starry sky. Last time something like that (and the sensational space) was removed, it seems, a certain Luc Besson, and that movie called the Fifth element. But it was so long ago that almost doesn't count.

However, this does not mean that Europe always loses to Hollywood by default. Among European Directors, it turns out, has its surprises. In particular, the Spaniards can sometimes surprise the world. They blow up the film community youth mega-hit Three meters above the sky (Yes, talking, movie for girls, but who can dare to say that it is bad? :) Then suddenly the Spanish debutant Director (try to remember his name is Hatem Greece) decides to rent a modest SAI FAI melodrama. And she suddenly "shoots" and get a wide response. What is the reason for this unexpected success?

In Orbit 9 almost everything is not what it seems (tell what would be one big spoiler. By the way, for this reason really do not advise to watch the trailer!) It is, in General, has long been a sign of the genre – stun (often the protagonist) sudden fatal discovery, and the story "the Changeling". Maybe all those twists seem predictable. But it is, after all, is not the most important thing. Director Orbits turned out to tell the story.

Orbit 9 was not a strong visual beauty – here are quite modest graphics (looking at special effects wakes up even something like a nostalgia: for example, the therapist of the main character appears to us in the form of a hologram of a wolf, and it looks nice and old fashioned, like in the movies of the 90s). The frame is not the most famous actors. But all that could be called a disadvantage of this film suddenly turns into its advantage. He really goes neprilysin faces of the actors, the brevity and simplicity of the images. Female audience probably secretly seduce cute, terse, but "much talking" his actions main character. Plain (no model) the appearance of the heroine also works for the overall impression. This movie is not about the stars (in every sense of the word), it is about people.

Hollywood may soon buy the rights to this film and to shoot a remake. Given the current crisis of ideas and scenarios is quite possible.
But it is, of course, not that soft European "low-budget" charm.
