THANK YOU
First of all - thank you to all those who have up-voted my reviews and made comments. I appreciate it very much - thank you :-)

INTO STEEMIT - CHOOSING TOPIC
I have been a steemian since 8-8-2016 so it has not been a full month. Also i spent the first few days figuring out how this thing worked. When the potential and possibilities dawned on me, i figured i had to find a personal and (sort of) unique product to offer the other users. But at the same time it needed to be something that i was fairly good at and had either firm opinions about or factual stuff i know a lot about. I have been running a philosophical youtube channel in danish (under the same name), but it would not work here since english not my first language and there are a lot of users who can provide much better content than me probably. I would save that for commenting. Then an old idea popped up. I have been thinking about doing movie reviews in some way or another, but had not come around to do anything about it. I immediately saw that Steemit would be the perfect platform and movie reviews would fit my criteria for content as described above. So on i went.

REVIEWING MOVIES
I have fiddled a bit with the format of the reviews. I have chosen to make them fairly short and concise. Length may vary to some degree since some movies require more text than others and good movies generally get more words than less good ones. I have decided to stick to 4 photos in each review. They are taken as photographs with an iPad directly from a LED TV, which i believe is not a violation of copyrights. Secondly the format is: Introduction, short plot/story description, discussion and conclusion. I find that sticking to a certain recognizable format makes it more user friendly and a sort of branding.

WHAT WILL I REVIEW?
Basically anything, but not everything. There will not be a very clear line for where the limit is, but it will be up to my personal judgement if i find it worthy of doing a review. Some big mainstream lame blockbuster may not get a review, while an equally lame but more obscure movie may. I will review movies from any period, any nationality, any genre, any length. So i am completely open to anything as long as it is worthy of attention.

MY COLLECTION
I had to move to a new and much smaller place a couple of years ago, and chose to sell a large part of my movie collection. Around 1000 movies i think. Now i regret selling them, because i will have to get hold of most of them again, presuming that i keep going with this project, which i intend to. But i still have a good stack to dive in to, and i am going looking for cheap and rare second hand DVDs (and the odd blu-ray) every other day, to stock up on movies to review. This is actually good fun and one might get lucky now and then finding something that is quite obscure and begs to be reviewed :-)
I will need to start investing some more money in more expensive stuff at some point and all your votes and comments help me reach a point when i can finance ordering some of the good stuff online or pick up at retail stores. I have just ordered ´Masters of Cinemas' Imamura box-set from Amazon. It is a complete bargain atm and will probably not be reprinted for many years when it is sold out. It would be lovely to get hold of boxes and other issues like that as i go along, which would make this blog even better.

I NEED YOUR FEEDBACK
Do you find my style right or do you have suggestions for improvements or "corrections"? Please let me know in the comments. So thank you once again for stopping by and helping me build this review blog. See you around :-)
