The Witcher (books) coming on Netflix??

Just found out about the possibility (not clear if it is confirmed yet) that witcher 3 is going to be made a film, not surprising as recently the industry is turning to medieval times or types of movies, thanks to Game of Thrones and its success.

However, for those who played the game and read the book, it seems that its going to follow the books (not that it matters to me :D) .

P.S
One of my favorite books, which i read at the same time with the lord of the rings (and i loved far more than the Tolkin ones), was the books of #Elric of Melnibone'. Now, i am not going to explain what the story is like, but the main character has some similarities with Geralt of Rivia and is recommended for anyone who likes similar books!

I know it might not be intriguing enough by just a short description, so here are a couple of basic links to help with the laziness :D

P.S2

I know there was an Elric movie many years ago, never watched it , so no clue about it, so opinion regarding it.
