It seems Martin Scorsese doesn't like movies about super humans... even though he apparently is one.

He had an opinion on something he doesn't like, I don't quite understand why the internet has decided to dog pile on this. Everyone has an opinion, if its not for him thats fine theres thousands of other films he can watch. Nobody is going to stop watching them and he didn't tell anyone not to either.

To be honest, I wrote this with a smirk on my face, not an angry scowl. I find it pretty funny that he formed such a strong opinion about something he's never seen.

The problem I had with this (and it really was not a huge problem) is that he formed an opinion about 23 movies... without seeing any of the movies. Perhaps if he had seen them, he would have truly hated them. But at least his statement that they are "not cinema" would have been based on actual evidence. And if he did see them, there is a chance he would realize that they included "human beings trying to convey emotional, psychological experiences to another human being."
