Is it Worth it? Super Troopers 2

 Is Super Troopers 2 worth seeing in theaters? To answer that ask yourself, do I want to see a funny movie? Do I want to see a movie that recaptures the spirit of the original so easily you won't believe it has been 17 years since the last one. Do I want to see a hilarious culture clash between America and Canada? If you answered yes to any of these questions go see Super Troopers 2!

 Super Troopers 2 effortlessly recaptures the same tone and fun from all those years ago. Even Brian Cox is back and just as pissed at the antics of the Vermont Highway Patrolmen as ever, unless he is joining in of course. The movie strikes the perfect balance in my opinion of carrying on the best old jokes while adding new material into the mix. The movie even had a bit of a mystery to solve. The movie focuses not only on the conflicts between the Super Troopers and the locals but also the efforts of an unknown drug smuggling group to move product across the U.S.-Canada border. While obviously not the point of a comedy movie the plot in this movie was well done and actually kind of interesting.

 The one character that really stole the show was Farva. He gets more screen time in this installment because of his obvious conflicts with anything non-American. He really carries any scene he is in and is in my opinion the best and funniest character. That's not to say the other guys didn't do a great job and have plenty of funny moments, I just think Farva really stole the show.

 So hats off to the team at Broken Lizard and thank you for making a great sequel all these years later. Go see this movie in theaters, I'm thinking about going back for a second time. Thanks for reading and brace yourself, Infinity War is coming!
