What Movie Releases Will Be Postponed Next?

A growing list of films have been postponed this year because of coronavirus.

This list includes the upcoming No Time to Die film that has been pushed now to a much later Nov release for 2020, along with F9 (another Fast and Furious flick), the new Mulan, A Quiet Place 2, and others.

I had been looking forward to the upcoming release of A Quiet Place 2, so it is somewhat disappointing to see it cancelled with the others, but cannot say that I am surprised.

The future release date for that project is not known yet.

Other films that have been pushed include Peter Rabbit 2 : The Runaway, Antlers, and some television productions have also now been suspended.

Worldwide, the box office is taking a hit, losing billions, and it will continue for some time, until another topic takes center stage with media and the general public.

For now, shows like Price is Right and Grey's Anatomy have reportedly stopped filming temporarily.

It has essentially become a nightmare for some in the film industry to deal with, same with the travel industry, grocery market, and other economic areas.

The list of media projects that have been impacted continues to grow by the day.

Music, Movies, Travel..

Broadway has shut down all productions, Disneyland has closed theme parks, popular entertainment options in the market are rapidly deteriorating.

Some estimates suggest that the virus could cost the travel industry more than $500 million, for the music industry? They suspect losses in the billions as the virus has already disrupted both SXSW and Coachella festivals.

Even for smaller players, such as the indie film business, some reports suggest they might see a revenue loss upwards of 70 percent.

With the steady cancellation of more media projects, it might only be a matter of time before more theaters close, like the thousands that have already been closed in China. Just in 2 months it has been estimated that the box office in China has lost over $200 million.

Without sports and Disneyland, how will the USA and the entertainment industry survive, without massive write-offs.

Yup! My husband started working on a new Disney movie 2 weeks ago, and they just told everybody at work today that they are shutting down production for at least a month because of Covid-19.

This is starting to hit close to home for a LOT of people.

that sounds like exciting work though!, hope he gets back at it soon, not fun to see how many ppl are being impacted

Yeah, I was supposed to go see Tool last night and they passed the stupid 250 people rule in Oregon yesterday! I mean, could wait till Monday? There are a ton of people going to lose out because of this. And to be honest, I still don’t know if this thing is legit or just something that is being blown way out of proportion because they need to find a way to reset the economy. Either way there is some diabolical shit going on right now. This aggression will not stand man!

yeah i hope that doesn't get worse

All sporting events have been canceled or some like golf are going to play without fans. Schools are shutting down. People are going crazy over toilet paper, I saw a video of people running into Costco as soon as it opened racing each other for toilet paper. Craziest thing of it all is they don’t even have enough tests to test people who want to be tested in the US at least. South Korea is doing a good job at testing, they have drive through testing stations set up for anyone that wants to get tested.

I think i heard the news about the latest James Bond movie also postponed to Nov.
I remembered the title is No Time to Die.... but got time to postpone.

Quiet place is very good move... I was like first move very..lets hope move two is also good.

I haven't been in a movie theater in over a decade.
So, i won't be missing anything

Here's hoping that Roger Rabbit 2 doesn't go woke
i liked the first one very much.

It is impossible to answer this question because the list grows every day.
