As cardinals gather, with fate to be told.
Robert Langdon, a symbologist true,
Summoned to Vatican, with clues to pursue,
With Vittoria Vetra, a physicist by his side,
Together they navigate, the Illuminati's tide.
A secret society, with rituals dark and old,
Threatens the Vatican, with a story to be told,
Four cardinals kidnapped, with fate unsure,
As Langdon deciphers, the clues to endure.
The Large Hadron Collider, a backdrop grand,
A symbol of science, in a world so unplanned,
The media's frenzy, a frame to abide,
For a story of conflict, between faith and science's pride.
But alas, the plot, a weakness to confess,
Complicated and formulaic, with characters in distress,
No depth, no chemistry, just a thrill to chase,
A superhuman assassin, in a predictable pace.
The theme of conflict, between science and faith,
Lost in action scenes, with no thought to engage,
A twist at the end, less surprising than hoped,
A disappointment, in a story that scope.
Ron Howard's direction, a rescue to attempt,
With action scenes, that attract and tempt,
But even his best, cannot compensate the flaw,
In a story that's weakened, by its own law.
A comparison to its predecessor, a weight to bear,
Angels & Demons, falls short, with no coherent air,
A world unseen, with flaws in its design,
A story that's hurt, by its own decline.
