In the shadows of obscurity, a star fades away,
Sylvester Stallone in D-Tox, a film gone astray.
A thriller lost in cliches, a story uninspired,
With characters unlikable, the audience left tired.

Directed by Gillespie, known for horror of the past,
But D-Tox fails to thrill, the excitement doesn't last.
Based on a novel, the concept had potential,
But execution falters, leaving the film essential.

Stallone's Jake Malloy, haunted by his past,
Struggles with addiction, a role that doesn't last.
In a remote silo, with former cops in despair,
A killer lurks among them, spreading fear in the air.

As the blizzard rages on, cutting them off from the world,
Malloy must uncover the truth, before more lives are unfurled.
But the pace is too quick, the killer's identity plain,
Leaving the audience indifferent, to the film's ultimate gain.

D-Tox may be forgotten, lost in the sands of time,
But Stallone perseveres, his career back in its prime.
A film to remember, for all the wrong reasons,
A cautionary tale, of Hollywood seasons.
