History doesn't repeat itself but it sure does rhyme. THE POST is quite honestly one of the best timed films that I can think of. Brilliantly executed by Speilberg, Streep, Hanks and a host of other well versed cast members. It goes right up there with ALL THE PRESIDENT's MEN. It's a stark reminder that absolute alienation is vile and it's usually the first step to a more insidious course of action. Whether it's based on gender, elitism, race, or nationality, the end game of it's employer is control. Those we elect to power will ALWAYS need to be checked because even the best of us can fall prey to the intoxicating sirens of power; leave alone, when the not so best of us are elected. One of the must sees.
