We are taking a break today and watching Ready Player One. This is one of our favorite movies from 2018. We saw it three times in the theater and read the book right after we saw it for the first time.
Even though we know the answer to all the puzzles it is so much fun to look deeper into the backgrounds to see all hidden characters and references.
Since we are IT people and have been in the personal computer industry since before the IBM PC. We worked on and sold the Atari 2600 and were Atari and Commodore dealers.
Ready Player One is prophetic for where our society is headed. There will be a time where people will forsake reality to live in an Alternate Reality. As Wade said int he beginning "People have stopped trying to solve problems and are just trying to ignore and survive them."
