Four Brothers

A little different.

The main characters play their parts very well, almost like they were going back to their roots as boys that grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. The mannerisms, language, attitude all seem to come very naturally to the four.

This is not one for the younger kids, it is R rated for a good reason. Besides the language there is a bit of gun play and other violence in the film. It is quite an enjoyable film and slightly longer than your average 90 min at 109 min.

As the title suggests we have four brothers who are reunited when their "mother" is murdered. Their mother adopted them all and did her best to straighten them out. Therefore after the funeral is done they start looking for the killers themselves as they can use methods the police can't.

As the four dig deeper into her killing they find a link between one of the brothers and a local criminal that could have had a hand in her death. The four also become wary of the two police officers trying to solve the case, are they simply following protocol to the letter or is there more to the perceived lack of progress by the police? Either way the brothers aren't going to stop until they find the answers.
