A University of Michigan study revealed that women who watch romantic comedies are more likely to find the obsessive behavior of an acceptable man.
According to this research, this type of film creates myths such as, for example, that women cry out for a man to be behind them, conquering them, and that harassment is not really a problem for any of the romantic parts.
But if you transfer the "romantic" actions of these films into real life, you're sure to notice that this way of conquering is more like harassment.
Here are the 7 examples:
1. Twilight
In this film, Bella's two love interests follow her all the time and are overprotective of her, as well as having a rare obsession with seeing her sleep.
2. 10 things I hate about you
The seemingly innocent Joseph Gordon-Levitt does everything he can to fall in love with his crush: he follows his every move, learns a new language and even hires another friend (Heath) to go out with his sister. In real life, that would be super weird.
3. Love Actually
Although this is one of our favorite romance movies, we can't deny that it shows obsessive and creepy behavior: those recordings that only Keira can see are clearly the kind of a stalker and there's really nothing romantic about showing up at the door of a house with loving banners, especially if your best friend is her husband.
4. Mad for Mary
Ben Stiller investigates everything he can about a woman he's been in love with for years, and uses that information to trick her into falling in love with him, lying through the whole process. It's a classic harassment movie made romantic comedy movie.
5. Crazy and stupid love
In this film, a young man makes us think that everything he does (uninterrupted text messages, excessive public displays of affection and bike rides to his nanny's house late at night) is romantic and adorable, but imagine it in real life. Yeah, sounds more like stalker behavior.
6. 50 shades of Grey
This feature actually shows us a very unhealthy relationship. Beyond the issue of control, Christian Grey's behavior is not romantic, but harassing, for example: he follows Ana to a bar with her friends.
7. Hitch
Similar to the case of 10 things I hate about you, but in this case, men hire an expert who is dedicated to "studying" women to make them fall in love with the men who pay her to conquer them.
Of course we can always enjoy these films, because finally, they are a fiction, but remember that in real life, if someone has some behavior with you that makes you uncomfortable, you don't have to put up with it.
Express your feelings and grievances, and don't let bullying jump from the big screen into your life.

Your right fantasy differ from reality, in movies like this you appreciate everything because it makes you feel things and feel wonderful imagining that somebody does that kind of thing but in reality you feel suffocated and afraid if put with this kind of situation.
