Movies, ahh, so many great ones it is hard to choose which one is your favorite (at least in my case.) I love movies so much because you can sit back and relax. My dad is dedicated to finding whatever movie he can get his hands on and showing my family them, whether they are classics, his generation movies, or the newest movies. We have watched more movies than most kids our age, but do it while still getting our daily dose of outdoor activities. Every night after everyone has washed up he puts in a movie and we all sit and watch. Usually it pleases us all but sometimes we fight about if it was good or not. Here is where I stop boring you and get to the list.

Comedy

My favorite comedy movie is : Borat
Borat is probably the funniest movie to me. It may offend some people but you can find yourself laughing. Sacha Baron Cohen is a news-castor sent from Kazakhstan to the United States. He convinced real people (non acting people) that he was really the news-castor from Kazakhstan. He was on TV, sent to programs, and met with people and said crazy things. He was just a non-educated about the US man from some foreign country to others. According to Google 94% of people liked it, it scored 7.3/10 on IMDb, 91% on rotten tomatoes, and 89% on metacritic. It came out in 2006 and was directed by Larry Charles. It is super funny and I recommend it.

Romance

My favorite Romance movie is: Gone With the Wind
Gone with the wind is a true classic and an amazing love story. I don't really like Romance movies but this one was a whirl-wind with ups and mostly downs this is one of the greatest movies ever made. Starring golden age of Hollywood stars Vivien Lee, Clark Gable, Olivia de Havilland, and Leslie Howard. In the US and Canada it is the highest grossing movie of all time. It scores 8.2/10 IMDb, 94% on rotten tomatoes, 4/4 on Roger Elbert, and 84% according to Google. I recommend this to all!

Musical

My favorite Musical movie is: The Sound of Music
The Sound of Music is another classic. It is also my favorite drama. I love the soundtrack and the beautifully told story. Nobody can forget the opening scene starring Julie Andrews singing "The Hills are Alive." It is during WWII in Austria and is about a strict father with 7 children who's lives change when lively Maria becomes their governess. It was based off of the Von Trapp family music group. It is the 3rd highest grossing movie of all time. It scored a 8/10 IMDb, 86% rotten tomatoes, and 92% on Google. This is a movie you don't want to miss!
