Sherlock Gnomes/Sherlock Gnomes 2018 Full Movie Watch Online

The second trailer of upcoming British-American 3D computer-animated romantic comedy mystery movie “Sherlock Gnomes”’ is out and it is making some serious waves.

Directed by John Stevenson, the film is a sequel to 2011’s “Gnomeo and Juliet” which didn’t fare very good reviews. The little gnomes hire Sherlock Gnomes to help investigate a queer disappearance.

The “Sherlock Gnomes” is voiced by Johnny Depp, James McAvoy, Emily Blunt, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Mary J. Blige. The film has been in production for several years but despite that the film doesn’t look too promising.

Fart jokes kick in just 25 seconds into the movie. There isn’t too much to look forward into the movie as the story looks very bland. Gnomeo and Juliet which was made for $36 million and grossed $194 million, gives us reason that this movie too will gross out good returns.

It will be the first film from Paramount Animation to be entirely animated, and the first animated film from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer since 2008's “Igor”.

When garden gnomes meet the biggest private investigator of literature, that gives Sherlock Gnomes! The realization of this revisit of the famous detective created by Arthur Conan Doyle was entrusted to John Stevenson, to whom we owe Kung Fu Panda. These are the new adventures of Gnomeo and Juliet, released in 2011. This time, the two characters will be confronted with the mysterious disappearance of several dwarves. They will call on Sherlock Holmes and his faithful sidekick, Dr. Watson, to trace them.

Note that the soundtrack of animation, available since March 10, is composed of songs written by renowned artists like Elton John or Mary J. Blige. It's also the title I'm still standing that accompanied the images of the trailer to rediscover below!

Synopsis:

Do you know what garden gnomes do when our backs are turned? They have fun and prepare the arrival of Spring. When they mysteriously disappear one by one, there is only one who can fly to their rescue: SHERLOCK GNOMES. The famous detective, a fervent defender of garden gnomes, arrives with his acolyte Watson to lead the investigation. Then begins a dwarf-believable adventure in which our heroes will meet new people and discover the hidden face of their city!

The French vocal cast of "Sherlock Gnomes" is unveiled. An ex Miss France joins Michael Gregorio among the voices of the animated film that will be released on April 11 in France.

After Gnomeo and Juliet, Michael Gregorio will be Gnomeo again, while Flora Coquerel will be the character of Irene (Sherlock's ex-girlfriend). This is the first time the former Miss France participates in a project for the cinema. The animated film Sherlock Gnomes will be released in France on April 11th.

Gnomeo & Juliet was a diverting enough bit of fun family 'toon action when it premiered in 2011. And since then, we've been hearing about the sequel in the works. It's finally on its way next year and the first trailer for the film, Sherlock Gnomes, is now online.

This time around, the story finds Gnomeo (James McAvoy) and Juliet (Emily Blunt) still happily coupled up. They and the rest of their garden ornament pals have moved to a brand new garden in the big city, which seems wonderful until our heroes return from a trip out to find that everyone else has been gnome-napped.

Worried about their friends, they contract the services of famed investigator Sherlock Gnomes (Johnny Depp, breaking out his accent again) and the hunt is on for the missing. Michael Caine, Maggie Smith and Stephen Merchant are among those returning, with Chiwetel Ejiofor and Mary J. Blige joining the vocal line-up as Watson and Irene respectively. Expect more silly jokes (someone is clearly a Top Secret! fan here) and songs from Elton John and Bernie Taupin.

The gang’s all here!

Six years after the cute, kitschy animated lawn decor danced into moviegoers’ hearts in Gnomeo & Juliet (2011), the charming original characters are back for a sequel — Sherlock Gnomes.

In this exclusive first look at the trailer for the film, “Gnomeo and Juliet are moving to a whole new garden,” according to the clip’s narrator. The new environment comes with a mud pool, in which “Mankini Gnome” happily jumps, sinks and accidentally lets slip a couple homemade “jacuzzi bubbles.” Everything is sunny and happily-ever-after-esque until… Gnomeo (James McAvoy) and Juliet (Emily Blunt) return home to find all their friends have been gnome-napped by a mysterious foe.

Enter, Sherlock Gnomes! The “sworn protector of garden gnomes,” voiced by Johnny Depp, swoops in and endeavors to help Gnomeo and Juliet find their lost friends, although from the looks of things Gnomeo gets himself wrapped up in the mystery mess and Juliet and Holmes have to follow the clues to save him as well.

Joining McAvoy, Blunt and Depp in the John Stevenson-directed (Kung Fu Panda) gnome-y fun are: Chiwetel Ejiofor (as Holmes’ trusty colleague Watson) and Mary J. Blige, with original music by Elton John and Bernie Taupin.

Watch the full trailer above for more from the new gnomes, including cute puns and riffs on pop cultural references, like “No ship, Sherlock.”

Emily BluntJULIET
Emily Olivia Leah Blunt is a British actress known for her roles in The Devil Wears Prada (2006), The Young Victoria (2009), Edge of Tomorrow (2014), and The Girl on the Train (2016), among many others. Blunt was born on February 23, 1983, in Roehampton, South West London, England, the second of four children in the family of Joanna Mackie, a former actress and teacher, and Oliver Simon Peter Blunt, a barrister. Her grandfather was Major General Peter Blunt, and her uncle is MP Crispin Blunt. Emily received a rigorous education at Ibstock Place School, a co-ed private school at Roehampton. However, young Emily Blunt had a stammer, since she was a kid of 8. Her mother took her to relaxation classes, which did not do anything. She reached a turning point at 12, when a teacher cleverly asked her to play a character with a different voice and said, "I really believe in you". Blunt ended up using a northern accent, and it did the trick, her stammer disappeared. From 1999 - 2001, Blunt went to Hurtwood House, the top co-ed boarding school where she would excel at sport, cello and singing. She also had two years of drama studies at Hurtwood's theatre course. In August 2000, she was chosen to perform at the Edinburgh Festival. She was signed up by an agent, Kenneth Mcreddie, who led her to the West End and the BBC, scoring her roles in several period dramas on stage as well as on TV productions, such as Foyle's War (2002), Henry VIII (2003) and Empire (2005). In 2001, she appeared as "Gwen Cavendish" opposite Dame Judi Dench in Sir Peter Hall's production of "The Royal Family" at Haymarket Theatre. For that role, she won the Evening Standard Award for Best Newcomer. In 2002, she played "Juliet" in "Romeo and Juliet" at the prestigious Chichester Festival. Blunt's career ascended to international fame after she starred as "Isolda" opposite Alex Kingston in Warrior Queen (2003). A year later, she won critical acclaim for her breakout performance as "Tamsin", a well-educated, cynical and deceptive 16-year-old beauty in My Summer of Love (2004), a story of two lonely girls from the opposite ends of the social heap. Emily Blunt and her co-star, Natalie Press, shared an Evening Standard British Film award for Most Promising Newcomer. In 2005, she spent a few months in Australia filming Irresistible (2006) with Susan Sarandon and Sam Neill. Blunt gave an impressive performance as "Mara", a cunning young destroyer who acts crazy and surreptitiously provokes paranoia in others. She also continued her work on British television, starring as "Natasha" in Stephen Poliakoff's Gideon's Daughter (2005), opposite Bill Nighy, a role that won her a 2007 Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role. She continued the line of playing manipulative characters as "Emily", a caustic put-upon assistant to Meryl Streep's lead in The Devil Wears Prada (2006). Blunt's performance with a neurotic twist added a dimension of sarcasm to the comedy, and gained her much attention as well as new jobs: in two dramas opposite Tom Hanks, then in the title role in the period drama, The Young Victoria (2009). Her most recent works include appearances as antiques dealer "Gwen Conliffe" in The Wolfman (2010) and as the ballerina in The Adjustment Bureau (2011). Emily is a highly versatile actress and a multifaceted person. Her talents include singing and playing cello; she is also skilled at horseback riding. Blunt's friend, Anne Hathaway, introduced her to actor John Krasinski, and they have been together since November 2008. On August 28, 2009, Blunt and Krasinski announced their engagement. The couple married on July 10, 2010, at the estate of their friend, George Clooney, on Lake Como in Italy. Blunt and Krasinski live in the Los Angeles area, California, and have two children.

James McAvoyGNOMEO
McAvoy was born on 21 April 1979 in Glasgow, Scotland, to Elizabeth (née Johnstone), a nurse, and James McAvoy senior, a bus driver. He was raised on a housing estate in Drumchapel, Glasgow by his maternal grandparents (James, a butcher, and Mary), after his parents divorced when James was 7. He went to St Thomas Aquinas Secondary in Jordanhill, Glasgow, where he did well enough and started 'a little school band with a couple of mates'. McAvoy toyed with the idea of the Catholic priesthood as a child but, when he was 16, a visit to the school by actor David Hayman sparked an interest in acting. Hayman offered him a part in his film The Near Room (1995) but despite enjoying the experience McAvoy didn't seriously consider acting as a career, although he did continue to act as a member of PACE Youth Theatre. He applied instead to the Royal Navy and had already been accepted when he was also offered a place at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD). He took the place at the RSAMD (now the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) and, when he graduated in 2000, he moved to London. He had already made a couple of TV appearances by this time and continued to get a steady stream of TV and movie work until he came to attention of the British public in 2004 playing car thief Steve McBride in the successful UK TV series Shameless (2004) and then to the rest of the world in 2005 as Mr Tumnus, the faun, in Disney's adaptation of C. S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005). In The Last King of Scotland (2006) McAvoy portrayed a Scottish doctor who becomes the personal physician to dictator Idi Amin, played by Forest Whitaker. McAvoy's career breakthrough came in Atonement (2007), Joe Wright's 2007 adaption of Ian McEwan's novel. Since then, McAvoy has taken on theatre roles, starring in Shakespeare's 'Macbeth' (directed by Jamie Lloyd), which launched the first Trafalgar Transformed season in London's West End and earned him an Olivier award nomination for Best Actor. In January 2015, McAvoy returned to the Trafalgar Studios stage to play Jack Gurney, a delusional English earl, in the first revival of Peter Barnes's satire 'The Ruling Class', a role for which he was subsequently awarded the London Evening Standard Theatre Award's Best Actor. On screen, McAvoy has appeared as corrupt cop Bruce Robertson in Filth (2013), a part for which he received a Scottish BAFTA for Best Actor, a British Independent Film Award for Best Actor, a London Critics Circle Film Award for British Actor of the Year and an Empire Award for Best Actor. Most recently, he reprised his role as Professor Charles Xavier in X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), and starred in the next film in the franchise, X-Men: Apocalypse (2016), and M. Night Shyamalan's thriller Split (2016).

Johnny DeppSHERLOCK GNOMES
Johnny Depp is perhaps one of the most versatile actors of his day and age in Hollywood. He was born John Christopher Depp II in Owensboro, Kentucky, on June 9, 1963, to Betty Sue (Wells), who worked as a waitress, and John Christopher Depp, a civil engineer. Depp was raised in Florida. He dropped out of school when he was 15, and fronted a series of music-garage bands, including one named 'The Kids'. However, it was when he married Lori Anne Allison (Lori A. Depp) that he took up the job of being a ballpoint-pen salesman to support himself and his wife. A visit to Los Angeles, California, with his wife, however, happened to be a blessing in disguise, when he met up with actor Nicolas Cage, who advised him to turn to acting, which culminated in Depp's film debut in the low-budget horror film, A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), where he played a teenager who falls prey to dream-stalking demon Freddy Krueger. In 1987 he shot to stardom when he replaced Jeff Yagher in the role of undercover cop Tommy Hanson in the popular TV series 21 Jump Street (1987). In 1990, after numerous roles in teen-oriented films, his first of a handful of great collaborations with director Tim Burton came about when Depp played the title role in Edward Scissorhands (1990). Following the film's success, Depp carved a niche for himself as a serious, somewhat dark, idiosyncratic performer, consistently selecting roles that surprised critics and audiences alike. He continued to gain critical acclaim and increasing popularity by appearing in many features before re-joining with Burton in the lead role of Ed Wood (1994). In 1997 he played an undercover FBI agent in the fact-based film Donnie Brasco (1997), opposite Al Pacino; in 1998 he appeared in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998), directed by Terry Gilliam; and then, in 1999, he appeared in the sci-fi/horror film The Astronaut's Wife (1999). The same year he teamed up again with Burton in Sleepy Hollow (1999), brilliantly portraying Ichabod Crane. Depp has played many characters in his career, including another fact-based one, Insp. Fred Abberline in From Hell (2001). He stole the show from screen greats such as Antonio Banderas in the finale to Robert Rodriguez's "mariachi" trilogy, Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003). In that same year he starred in the marvelous family blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), playing a character that only the likes of Depp could pull off: the charming, conniving and roguish Capt. Jack Sparrow. The film's enormous success has opened several doors for his career and included an Oscar nomination. He appeared as the central character in the Stephen King-based movie, Secret Window (2004); as the kind-hearted novelist James Barrie in the factually-based Finding Neverland (2004), where he co-starred with Kate Winslet; and Rochester in the British film, The Libertine (2004). Depp collaborated again with Burton in a screen adaptation of Roald Dahl's novel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), and later in Alice in Wonderland (2010) and Dark Shadows (2012). Off-screen, Depp has dated several female celebrities, and has been engaged to Sherilyn Fenn, Jennifer Grey, Winona Ryder and Kate Moss. He was married to Lori Anne Allison in 1983, but divorced her in 1985. Depp has two children with French singer/actress Vanessa Paradis: Lily-Rose Melody, born in 1999 and Jack, born in 2002. He married actress/producer Amber Heard in 2015.
