Avengers: Endgame Makes Pre-Sales History Plus New Posters Arrive

If you tried to purchase tickets for Avengers: Endgame you may have had some serious trouble. AMC totally crushed and they issued an apology on Twitter. Fandango had a line inside the website to get tickets. I live outside of the U.S. and when I tried to see what was going on with Avengers: Endgame tickets over here, the site crashed when you pressed on Avengers: Endgame screenings. I will probably not go on opening night, but on the opening weekend.

Also, there are tickets for opening night being sold on EBay. That's how crazy things are.

Ticket sales broke records within 6 hours (forget 24 hours, Marvel fans don't wait that long). Avengers: Endgame is now the fastest pre-sale movie within the first 24 hours, outselling Star Wars: the Force Awakens. Now just think what kind of box office money it will translate into. The estimates are 800 million dollars for opening weekend worldwide, but I think it will be closer to a billion. I can already feel James Cameron sweating and cursing comic book movies as I expect Avengers: Endgame to unseat Titanic as the second most successful movie of all time.

In order to celebrate the successful sales opening, Marvel gave us brand new character posters to enjoy and a new tv spot (we get a bit more Captain Marvel in it).
